husband vs close cousin.

I have a very large family but only one cousin my age so needless to say we are close like best friends. Well he had a baby with his now ex girlfriend and that little boy looks nothing like him or her but looks a lot like the guy she dated before my cousin. Plus the probability of two brown eyed people getting a blue eyed baby is less than 7%. A year later my cousin has expressed concerns to me that he is starting to feel like he might not be the biological father to this little boy. I had suggested a paternity test and he said no because it wouldn't change anything. He will always be this little boys dad no matter what his DNA is. I thought that was awesome. Well my husband thinks he's stupid and that he should do the DNA and if he isn't the father he would terminate all rights and never see the kid again. Because "he wouldn't pay for another mans kid." I can't believe I married someone who would think like that. My cousin has been this little guys dad for almost a year now. DNA doesn't make you a parent. I just am blown away my husband is that insensitive.
