I clean it up because my son is my responsibility and we have better manners than to leave a pigsty behind. That's just not how my husband or myself were raised. No need to apologise because I take care of it.

I clean up if there's any mess at all, with that being said I'm in the minority of moms because I think if your kids are a little more hyper and messy eaters they just don't belong at a restaurant. I bring my kids starting very young so they can learn manners and courtesy to others. There is nothing more I can't stand than seeing children really misbehaving while parents hang out doing nothing.

I clean it up. The wait staff is there to write down orders and refill drinks. They aren't there to crawl around under tables cleaning up after my kid. They don't get paid enough for that. We always clean our table of crumbs, and either stack the plates or consolidate the mess so they aren't spending 5 min bussing our table.

My kid is my responsibility, and their mess is mine to clean up.

I tidy up the best I can and stack my plates.  Worked in a kitchen for two years and hated when people would leave their shit everywhere and not even apologise.  I wouldn't be there picking up every scrap of food my child threw but would try to get majority.

Apologize and clean after. Because that's the nice thing to do. Yes babies make messed, but that doesbt mean u should let them clean ur EXTRA MESSY table,  when she or he probably has so many other tables to look after. While at that,  I also make sure,to leave a 20÷ Cash tip with a thank u written on the bill. But then again,  I've been in the customer service industry for decades. I know how it works..and I know what pain in the ass is to clean after a lound, messy table . If my kids to that,  I make sure our server at least gets to smile because of a clean table and a nice tip

I don't clean it up. I clean the table up a lot. I used to be a server and I honestly didn't mind sweeping up real quick. I do leave a decent tip tho

Your child is your responsibility. If yo I know they are loud, rowdy, and make messes then taking them to restaurants is something you shouldn't do. It's not fair to anyone.

My son started going to them very early on and we have never had a problem.

It's bigger than saying sorry and leaving a nice tip. It's about teaching your children manners and how to act in public.

I usually don't worry about because kids make messes. I usually give my son a little bit at a time to help not make such a huge mess. But usually we are just friendly to our waiter/waitress and always tip well. ☺️

I'll clean it up by myself as much as possible. If the server was nice, didn't mind the mess and helped clean up then I'll give a good tip!
