Well I'm an idiot

I was trying to get my friend who is also a guy I like a job but he wasn't answering and I was being told that if they don't hear from him they would find someone else so since he wasn't answering I set my phone to private to call off of a private number just to get him to answer he didn't well I forgot to turn the privacy private setting off so I kept calling off a private number well he always kept a guard up towards me cuz I'm friends with his ex and she lied to him a lot well I like him but since I didn't know I was still calling off of a private number he finally answered and found out it was me but I didn't think he would believe me so I told him it cuz I got a phone from my friend and she forgot to turn off the privacy settings off cuz she would call me off of a private number of I don't answer her and she's trying to get a hold of me so that part is true but he doesn't believe me cuz like the stupid person that I am I lied cuz I didn't think he would believe me and I was trying to not lose his trust so like the stupid person I am I lied and now I royally screwed things up like I always do and now he won't talk to me cuz he doesn't like liers but if I tell him the truth now he's still gonna think I'm lying and now Idk what to do i always find away to screw things up🙁🙁🙁🙁
