Do you agree with this? Do you think it's reasonable?
So I'm watching the news and a school near me (Derry township school district) is now making parents and/or students pay $50-$75 in order to play a sport, depending on what they want to sign up for. They claim it's going to make it easier for them to buy uniforms, equipment, and other things needed for the sport. Do you think it's fair?
Personally, I don't. I cheered in high school and we had to pay for numerous things. Like our warmups, t shirts, bows, shoes, and we would fundraise if we wanted new uniforms. I think it should be like that for any sport. You play for free and get your uniforms for free but if you want anything extra then you fundraise or pay for it yourself.
