All day sickness and work??

Hey, 1st pregnancy here and I have 5w 6days today.. I have been sick vomiting for a week straight now. I have called into my work twice already and been to the ER for fluids once.. I can't do this the whole time?? How am I supposed to work? I am nauseous 24/7 and dizzy after 5 minutes of standing.. I work in a hospital doing 12 hour shift... I don't want to get fired... What do I do?

I suffered with hyperemisis for pretty much this whole pregnancy and like you and others that had to suffer through it I was beyond miserable and ended up in and out of the ER, as well as trying any and everything to just stop feeling sick.. eventually I had to go on disability because I could no longer work.. so if all else fails disability might be an option temporarily..

Sea bands, ginger gum, just try things for sickness. I did. I was sick for four months. But I worked every day but like two. And for fluids coconut water and Gatorade will hydrate you quickly.

I got put on meds because I had Los weight and the doctors didn't want me to lose more I couldn't eat and couldn't work. Now most days I'm completely fine! You should talk your doctor they really help.

I had a routine, ginger tea for breakfast, eat every 2 hours, start work at 9, throw up in toilets at 11 then carry on lol did this for 8 weeks and took days off when it was really bad, hopefully it won't last too long for you
