Tay Sachs

Just got a call from my doc and I am a Tay Sachs carrier so now my husband needs to be tested for it. Has this happened to anyone else?? We are totally freaked out but trying to stay calm. The chances are about 1% that the baby will have it which would be terminal. I'm due 1/6/18 and would be so sad if we couldn't keep this child... thought we were over the big stress by now but apparently not, sadly.
