So I'm excited that first of all, I got a great new job that pays way more than my previous one. I'll be teaching kindergarten! I'm due the end of this November, and am at a public school. From what I read, I can't get fmla since I will only have been there 3 months. So what happens? Obviously I have to leave. I'm taking 6 weeks and my husband will take 2. I told my principal so far and she was happy, but haven't signed a contract. I guess I go to Hr to find out but wasn't sure if this happened to anyone else. I have heard of teachers getting hired pregnant, but I don't know if it's just all completely unpaid leave or what. Help! Starting to worry even though this job is way better than my last.
