Third trimester weight gain?

I'm 24 weeks and have gained 3 pounds so far (lost 10 pounds throughout my first trimester then gained it back and am up 3 pounds from what I was pre-pregnancy). How much did you gain in your third trimester? I'm scared I'm going to gain a lot in these last couple months!

I gained all my weight in the last trimester. You've only gained 3 pounds, relax you have some room to grow for sure. The baby grows the most in the third trimester so it only makes sense now is when you will put on the most weight. I gained at least 25 lbs, and was still back to my pre-pregnancy weight at my two week checkup.

I'm 25 weeks and 2 weeks ago, I was up 19 lbs 🤦🏼‍♀️ I gained about 45 with my first son.

Don't be scared to gain, baby needs it! Not only is your baby and all of the things he/she needs inside you growing but your body will want to hold onto some fat for milk production

I only started gaining in the third trimester as well. And most of that is amniotic fluid and baby. At 30 weeks I only gained 3 lbs as well. Just remember that even if the numbers on the scale go up, it's not necessarily body fat of your own. It will be fast to come off as well.

I gained 8 lbs in this last month... not super happy about that but I’m 37 weeks and have been gaining rapidly in the third trimester.  I’m
up to 27 lbs now for the pregnancy and hoping the weight gain really slows.  I had not gained any weight during the prior 2 months.  I’m also retaining a lot of water

I'm actually curious about this too because I'm 20 weeks and have gained 10lbs thus far.

I only gained 20 pounds total. 0 in my first trimester, 5-7ish in my second and then the rest in my third. For the most part, I was able to control a good majority of the weight gain through eating well and continuing to work out 5 days a week. Almost every pound I gained was baby 😊 once she was out, I was back to my normal weight within a week.
