Sharp pain In right ovary

Hello, I've been having a sharp pain in my right ovary for a few days now and it's progressively getting worse. It does correlate with my ovulation but I've never experienced this kind of pain with it before. It sort of feels like gas so I can't decide if it's something I should be worried about.  Any advice or knowledge would be great, thank you.
