Removing my insides!!!!!!!

Has anyone had a hysterectomy? I am getting my tubes tied during this csection, I have had ten pregnancies and 6 live births, my body has gone through hell being a surrogate. But I am curious with no medical issues with they give me a hysterectomy? I know the side effects of having to take hormones, I already have to take them. So I am curious pros or cons or if they may consider it, I am talking to my doctor on the 28th. Or if they won't since my tubes are tied what can I do for period help as they are the worst, still take birth control? Just curious on possibilities
