Sleeping thru the night?

Miss Oakley is now 5 weeks old (born June 2nd), and we still have a rough time at night. Some nights she only wakes up 3 times, other nights she's up every hour. Has anyone got their baby down to one feeding a night?

Not yet, but I'm hoping soon, my little guy is 4.5 weeks old. I'm starting to follow the babywise schedule. Good luck!

Hi! Yes my baby is 4 weeks old and she sleeps 4hrs at night wakes up for a feeding and sleeps another 4hrs the key for her is to change diaper, feed her until she is full, make sure the room is dark and keep her very warm and she will go 4 sometimes 5 hours straight. Good luck

My 4week old sleeps 12hrs a night with 2 change / feed wake ups. He has to be fast asleep and settled before he will go back in the bassinet though. Middle of the night feeds can last an hour...

My little guy wakes up about every hour and a half during the night to breastfeed and my lactation coach says that is perfectly normal it's because he is going to go through 
 growth spurt so he'll have 2 or 3 days of feeding every hour and then he'll have a day and a half or so of real long naps and sleeping for 5 hours. Buy lactation coach said that breast milk gets digested a lot faster in a baby's body then formula because the breast milk breaks down easier that means you have to feed them more often formula takes a lot longer for the body to start breaking it down and digesting it that's why you don't have to feed a formula fed baby as often
