Bug bites

So I ended up going to urgent care for my blistered bug bite and all the doctor did was take one look at it and said "oh it's irritated" but I would assume if a bug bite is irritated it'd be swollen or red, not blistered. So since then it looks like my blister has gotten bigger and it really stings and hurts. I don't know what I should do about it because it seems like they were no help. It was just a little red bump that turned into a blister and the blister has gotten bigger since. Help please!
