Weird dreams and ovulation

Anyone else have weird unexplainable dreams while ovulating or near your period? Also anyone have an answer as to why this happens? I have these weird dreams during ovulation and around my period and they're just unexplainable. They sit in my head all day and throughout the day I actually have flashbacks as if it was a real experience. I don't understand why this is happening.
