Cleaning the pieces between pumps?

Anyone have tips on how to make the cleaning process more efficient? It seems like by the time I pump, take it all apart, wash the pieces, and dry them out it's time to pump again. Is there a better way?

When I was pumping I washed all my pump parts daily. But in between pump sessions  I would put the pieces in the fridge then reuse them for my next session.

My lactation specialist suggested rinsing all the pieces in cold water first, so the milk doesn't stick to the plastic, than hot water and washing with soap once a day. This will only work if it's immediately after pumping.
