Please help--b.c. Advice

So whenever I get my period it's always super painful. Specifically the cramps. But now I'll get nausea and headaches because of the cramps. It's gotten much heavier too. I feel like I've heard of people taking birth control to ease cramps and help with the heaviness. Does anyone suggest it? If so what kind works best for specifically cramps? Also I'm 15. Is it bad to take it that young? Right now Im just taking midol and ibuprofen at the same time but I feel like that is probably just as bad. Very lost in all the types of birth control and would appreciate the help😬😬
