Is 29 weeks too early to start washing clothes, blankets, etc for baby to start preparing?

I didn't wash mine until 34 weeks which is when I lost my mucus plug because I wanted them to be fresh smelling for baby's arrival. He came at 39 weeks 🤷‍♀️

My shower is next weekend so I've been anxiously waiting until then. I will be 33 weeks.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I washed my baby stuff multiple times before my son got here. Had to make sure nothing would shrink, stain, or get destroyed in the wash

i was washing a storing all the baby stuff as soon as i had enough to do a small load! so exciting ❤️baby will be here before you know it  :)
