When do you tell work?

I work in care with some violent residents i've told 2 of my seniors but one is a very big blabber mouth and I really don't want her telling anybody else as it's only early days I'm nearly 6 weeks at what point would you tell work? 
Do I have a responsibility to tell them early as I work with some violent residents or can I tell them whenever I want?

You don't have to tell them till you're technically showing. But if you're worried about your well being because of the baby I would tell them sooner.

I told my Manager early because we have to. But my entire work team knew when I was 8 weeks because I got really sick at work and ppl blabbed. 
But I figured that it doesn't really matter because they are my close friends 😊

I told my work when I was about 6 weeks because I work with children that can be violent and I needed them to know so someone could help me in situations that I needed to step away from. I told them to protect myself and my baby

There's no disclosure law as far as I know. I waited until 12 weeks, but if I were in a situation like yours I would tell my employer immediately because that gives you more of a reason to play it safe when someone is swinging for you.
