camera?

Question

Looking to get a real camera instead of just taking pics with my iPhone all the time.... does anyone have one that they like?

I'm not a professional by any means so user friendly would be a must!

I'm a photographer. 
Get a DSLR, you can get them fairly cheap used. Canon is best to get the correct coloring (which is important). The canon rebel is a great camera and you can get them used on eBay for a couple hundred. All you need is the kit lens. But trust me is a million times better than a point and shoot. You can change the shutter speed meaning less blur which most point and shoots you can't do that and end up with tons of blur.

I worked at a electronic repair company (where if you sent a phone, tablet, camera, etc through warranty, it goes there for repair). I will never buy Nikon after working there. Their cameras always had the same issues and came in A LOT. So I'd recommend canon. But it also depends on whether you are looking for a dslr or a digital camera.

I did tons of research on this for the same reason! We went to a few camera shops and department stores in end up buying a Nikon Coolpix b500 because it has adjustable settings but it is not a professional camera so anyone can learn to use it. It was not overly expensive and it was recommended at our local camera shop even though it's cheaper than the alternatives like the Canon and Sony we looked at

Nikon and Canon both have great higher end point-and-shoots. Go to Best Buy and try a few out, that's what I always do!

I'm shopping around for a camera too! That Samsung one looks nice. My biggest thing is that so many nice cameras are not purse or diaper bag friendly. If I can't carry it around with me, I won't use it.
