I'm the youngest of 3 and my family doesn't seem to realize that I grew up ever. I'm 25, married, college graduate and have a leadership position at work. Despite this, anytime I'm around my family they treat me as if I'm still 16. Does anyone else experience this? It was ok for my 18 yr old sister to get pregnant and move in with her BF, but me getting engaged at 21 caused problems(and my guy has always been a great guy... her ex not so much). Last week my sister left some paperwork from her OB at my house and I returned it this weekend. My BIL made a few comments about how they couldn't be mine since it was from and OB.....which I have an OB..... I guess I'm just wondering if it ever gets easier? Will I always have to prove that I am mature enough for the things I do in life? Any one else out there like me?!
