Colace 100mg, How fast will it work?

I've been constipated and nothing's worked so I finally made the decision to take a Colace that my doctor prescribed and I'm praying it does something fast because I feel so uncomfortable right now, super clogged up!

And plus I've been getting a lot of Braxton Hicks with it due to just my stomach acting up I guess, so it doesn't feel good.

How fast can this work? What can I do to make it work faster? And it says I can take two pills a day but how close together? I only took the first around 3pm.

Ps. I'm 33 weeks and 1 Day Pregnant ❤️
