Vent session- topic Doctors

I loved my OB up until I got pregnant this time around. He moved to a super tiny and cramped office and his phone lines are never working. Every time I call to leave a message I never get a call back. I have been going to him for over 8 years, he delivered my 1st daughter and helped me conceive my twin boys. I asked him about delivery at the high risk hospital since I am high risk, history of Preemies, miscarriages and now twins. He says no- I won't go there and you don't need to worry about it. They will just transfer them there if complications arise 😱 so I of course started looking for a Dr who delivers there so I can switch. Well in the mean time I keep seeing my regular doctor and I ended up with a kidney stone and guess whose phones weren't working again.... 😡 I finally 2weeks after the fact get ahold of the office explain I will be transferring and ask what I need to do to have my records go to the new Dr. they inform me they are closing their office because the dr is retiring end of July and I need to come in person to request them because they can't guarantee they will be able to transfer them in their current situation- I may have to request them from the Dr he is handing his patients over to... which happens to be the dr they share the office with who is a royal asshole and doesn't take my insurance but claims he will. I saw him prior to getting the Dr I have had for the past 8-9years. On top of that they were supposed to request a MFM for me and guess what it's been over a month and still Nothing on that... another thing to upset this already hormonal pregnant lady... So anyway... I am super annoyed and have an appt with the new Dr soon, I don't have time to go request my records until maybe a hour before my appt with the new dr. I just think it's crap. How can you only give people 3 weeks notice and how can you all of a sudden not give a crap about your patients. Go out on top care like you had been, not giving a shit isn't the way to head into retirement if you ask me.
