How long after a c section should I wait for second baby. A little back story it took us 8 years to get pregnant it was really stressful because month after month and year after year we finally have our blessing im due for a c section on September 4. I'm 27 and I've heard that after 30 it's harder to get pregnant so I was wondering how long should I wait to have another baby?

Ask your doctor some recommended a year or so

The general rule is one year between deliveries. So you could start trying against 12 weeks PP.

As a general rule you should give yourself at least a year after any birth for your body to recover.
