He didn't propose on vacation

Two weeks before, I was nervous that my boyfriend of 4 years was gonna propose. As the time progressed, I doubted more and more that it would happen. In fact! I was thinking about breaking up with him once I got home for other reasons. Im just done with this relationship. He gets very impatient and short with me. He's not a caring or loving person outside the bedroom.

Now, 4/5 days into the vacation. I told him what I thought might happen and how I was disappointed. But ALSO I told him I was having a really good time with him and on this vacation. We have argued and it was tough at first. And now it's better. But since I brought it up, I can tell he felt bad and he was WAY more affectionate than he was during this whole trip.

I just don't know what to do. Advice? I'm thinking I want to break up once we get back.
