moving in together?!😅🏘

Question

me and my SO just landed our first apartment together in Atlanta, GA (also where i will be attending college.) I'm so excited but also kind of nervous. We are both young, (18 and 19) and have been together for a very long time. Any advice on moving in together and first apartments? positive comments only please!!!

Be prepared for it to be hard regardless of what you do. It's an adjustment being together that much. I love my boyfriend more than anything and we lived together at both of our parents houses before we got an apartment and it's still way different being out on your own. It's soooo worth it you just have to communicate. And make sure you figure out who's doing what chores! That's a big issue with us. Good luck and congratulations!

I think the best advice I've heard from couples who live together is to make sure you keep your stuff separate. Like in the bathroom and closets. My best advice would be to give each other space when you need it. Also chores... make sure you talk about who wants to do what.
