UPDATE: Took out foley bulb myself / being induced 😩😩😩

🔹🔹Update: my doctor asked me to come into the office to check me because she didn't want me taking the foley out. She was going to put another one in but I'm 4cm dilated / 70% effaced!! No need for another one thank goodness! I'm going to continue my walking and wait on the hospital. Crossing my fingers I'll go into labor on my own!🔹🔹

The last thing I wanted was to be induced. Hearing about how pitocin could mess with the baby's heart rate freaks me out so bad. I am on the waiting list to be called in today or tomorrow.

I had the foley bulb inserted yesterday morning. Around 7pm, I felt wetness around my side (where I kept the end of the tube). When I looked, it was blood. I had no idea there was a drain on top of the bulb so apparently I was bleeding. Mind you, I've been losing mucous plug since it's been inserted but this didn't look like mucous. It looked like straight up blood. I decided to drain out the saline and remove the bulb. It completely stopped my contractions and I'm assuming I'm still stuck at a 2. I'll be walking around today as much as possible to start labor on my own. Fingers crossed 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
