I know this may be a silly question, but will my obgyn prescribe meds for ppd, or do I have to go to a family doctor? My anxiety is rearing its ugly head, and I'm scared they'll laugh at me or not listen. I don't currently have a primary family dr so the nerves are setting in about finding one and talking to someone new again. I've had a family dr laugh at me and call me silly when I described symptoms, and the same family dr and nurses complaining about having to do a Pap smear. I'd really rather just go to obgyn since I already have a standing relationship with him, and it's time for a pap anyways. I'd rather just go to one appointment...
