Is my period normal?

My period is often late and usually skips a month every 2 months, I got my first period 5 years ago (I was 13) and it used to be very regular up until about last year or so. Is that normal? Also I've never had sex with a guy so I always know I'm not pregnant

I started getting my period when I was ten. From 10-15 I had a consistent, on time period which lasted exactly 5 days and followed a clear schedule (first day heavy, 2-4 medium, 5 light) at around 15, I started to miss full periods (mind you, I was a virgin who had never taken birth control) I would sometimes have 7 day long extremely heavy periods and the next month have a 3 day very light period. Not sure why it changed, but I began to take the pill for that reason and now I have consistent periods again which come at the same time!
