What's it like in the delivery room?

FTM and I'm trying to imagine going into the hospital this Friday to be induced. And in my head I'm picturing a scene out of a horror movie where I'm walking nervously down the hallway to my room where all I can hear is women screaming and giving birth though out the hall. 
Please tell me it will be a quiet experience and I won't hear every one screaming and crying and they won't hear me.

I was induced. Nervous as heck. 
It was a long day. Once my water broke the pain got bad but I got an epidural and didn't feel a thing from then on. 
My dr said - push through the pain and I wanted to say. What pain? I literally didn't feel A THING.  
For me though, it was just slow. IV in. Monitors on. Laying in bed. Talking to my husband. All day long. And when pushing it's hard to scream because you can't breathe cause you hold your breathe while pushing. You've got this.

I heard the lady next to me scream and I'm sure she heard me scream too 😂 it's not that scary though! I only screamed because the "ring of fire" when he was crowning was INTENSE. I hyperventilated. I'm not trying to scare you. It hurts, even with an epidural. But it's a type of pain where as soon as you get the head out, the pain goes away. My son is a month old, and I already want another one. So it wasn't that bad 😉

I'm quiet. I internally cry and tell myself I just can't do this thru every contraction but outside I look like a rock star (nurse kept telling me omg ur doing great!!! Ur handling them awesome!) but I was dying. It's not terrifying. Why didn't u do hospital tour?

I didn't hear a thing. My room was quiet. It was my Dr, 3 nurses by my side, my hubby and me.  Not chaotic at all.

I didn't scream .. contractions hurt but I was able to manage the pain . Although I have heard being induced is more painful . If you're getting an epidural you should be ok I think you can get that at 3-4 centimeters if you choose . I had to get two I couldn't feel a thing . I only cried because the dr told me if I couldn't push then they'd have to do s c section . That motivated me to push him out I did not want that . I pray this time is just as easy I only have 8 more days

I've never heard a woman scream. I didn't scream. I feel like that's just in movies.
