Birthmark?

This is a mark on my daughter's shoulder that showed up when she was about 2 wks, she is 3 months tomorrow. It isn't smooth to her skin but is a little bump. People keep saying it's a strawberry mark. Does anyone else's LO have any marks like this?

It looks like a small hemangioma which is harmless. Just run it by her doctor at her next visit.

My son had a little one on his back. His pediatrician would measure it at his doctor appointments but it never grew. Now that he is 6 it is almost nonexistent and they say it's nothing to worry about.

Let her Dr know. My daughter was born with a red mark under her nose and her Dr told me to keep an eye on it. She now 17 months and it has faided some.

It might be a tiny hemangioma. My son had a much bigger one on his arm that came up a few days to a week after his birth I can't remember. They usually fade/go away on their own but you should point it out to your Doc on her next well visit. ❤️
