What should I expect?

I am going to set up an appointment with my gynecologist in the next week to discuss if my body is ready to be pregnant. I should've done this before ttc but I didnt. We've only ttc for about 3 months so it hasn't been long. What should I expect during this appointment? Do they take blood, do a sonogram on your uterus? Can someone please explain how this works? I'm so excited and nervous. (BTW I had surgery in 2013 on my uterus to fix the septate and drain my fallopian tube)
