So I got a cold 4 dpo and now that's a prego symptom????

I have sworn up and down I'm done symptom spotting!!! So this month no sore boobs no nausea just feeling great until I get this cold and a lot of extra cm ( which I'm not sure is just due to the cold) and now this could be a symptom of pregnancy ?! I'm so confused and would rather assume I have a cold that is taking forever to go away because I've now had it for 6 days instead of getting my hopes up! Anyone else think a cold is a made up symptom ??
