Night time feeding and burping?

Question

My baby is 2 months old, at night we co-sleep (safely) and I nurse him laying down in the side position, when he finishes nursing he falls asleep, I do not burp him because I don't want to wake him. Is this okay? He never cries of a tummy ache or anything. Should I be burping him?

Mine will get very sleepy during night feeding. But I will still burp and usually change her. She just goes right back to sleep. Sometimes she sleeps right thru a burp, it's pretty cute but man, I want that burp out! Lol

With my son, he almost always falls asleep during night feedings, and then is already out when I try to burp him. It doesn't bother him, and as long as your baby seems content as well, everything should be fine! :)

We do the same. If baby seems ok, go with it. :)
