Has any previously or planning on leaving their job during maternity leave?
I really don't want to go back to my current job. It's high stress, lots of hours and far away. I am off for 12 weeks paid and am taking 12 weeks unpaid. I wish I could drop to part time but they don't offer that for engineers. I am looking for jobs closer to home that have 40 hr per week (only bc part time isn't offered. I'd rather 20 to 30) vs the 65 I previously had to put in. My fear is if I leave I will have to pay the salary and insurance back. Does anyone have experience with this?
