So my 17 year old sister has a friend we will call her Baylee. Well my sister HS spent her entire summer with Baylee, normal for a teen. Well my mom really likes her too I guess. I work a lot lately and asked if my mom and sister would come over to my house and spend a day with me. I said we could play games, watch movies, is cook dinner and be a family again. Well they didn't come till like 4 p.m. because they were with Baylee that morning. My sister texted Baylee the whole time she was here and we just watched 1 movie, then they said they had to go because Baylee got off work soon and they were going to go have dinner with her. I am still very hurt by this. I am their daughter and blood sister and they are picking Baylee over me?! I had yesterday planned for a week and looked forward to actually having time (rare time by the way, I work full days almost 7 days a week) with my family. I don't not see them by choice, I have a crap ton of hours so I literally don't have time. I've tried to talk to them about this, but they ignore me. My sister spends all her time with Baylee and so does my mom. My family use to be super close and now I am like the odd ball that is being pushed aside and replaced with a new one. Idk what to do, but I'm crushed.... 😞😢 I also don't live with them by the way. I live about 20 minutes away on my own.
