Pregnancy pain level

On a scale of 1-10 how bad to it hurt pushing those babes out? I'm a first time mom and I'm terrified of giving birth. Probably because my mom told me when she was giving birth to me she thought she was gonna die. She told my dad to tell her sisters that she loved them and that she was gonna die. We all laugh about this now 😂😂😂 but was she just being dramatic or does it really hurt that bad ?😳
