So how far along am I? Please help me understand

Ok so last month period was Jan 20th.. by my LMP I am 9w and 4 days.. but i.wasent pregnant with baby the first day of my last period.. I got pregnant about 2 weeks after...so baby is only in my belly 7w and 4 days.. so when I go for my ultrasound.. How will the docs see baby as?? I hear they go by ur lmp but I don't understand why

That's just how they do it. So yeah, technically they are counting the two weeks before you actually conceived.

This same situation happened to me and my doctor went with the ultrasound because he said I didn't ovulate when I should have making me "less" pregnant.

You always go by LMP as at that stage your body is preparing for pregnancy and eggs to be released, there mightn't be a baby in there yet but that doesn't matter.

The first 2 weeks of your cycle are counted as being the first 2 weeks of your pregnancy even though you're not preg then.

My lmp was Jan 21 and I'll be 10weeks tmw. My baby is measuring bigger than I calculated. So when u get that ultrasound, you will have a better idea of how far along you are.

So how far along am I? Please help me understand
