Anti birth control??

Im about to be a freshman in high school and i want birth control and my mom wont let me get it. What do i dooo?!

If you have a friend or a family member who can take you then get them to. You just need your insurance card and your social security number. Also, don't start having sex until you're the legal age of consent where you live. This avoids anyone getting in trouble if someone finds out.

I would be honest with her about wanting to go on it, and your reasons for wanting to. 
If your reason is for safe sex, I applaud you for being mature to make the choice, however that may freak out your mom.
Some good "reasons" for needing birth control:
-Very heavy, long, painful periods
-Bad PMS
-Horrible cramps
-To help with acne (if you have acne)
-To make your period regular
-To alleviate period related migraines

you can be put on birth control without parents permission after you are a certain age. ask a trusted adult or if you have no idea where to start ask the school nurse or counselor to point you in the right direction. I'm glad you've decided to be responsible enough to know you need to be on birth control instead of risking it. my father Is totally against bc because that gives me the option to be sexual active. I feel your pain lol
