Baby Monitors

Does anyone know about the safety of the night vision baby monitors. My baby is 2 months and We never got around to putting it on the wall. So it has been sitting on the top edge of the crib. And tonight I got this feeling that what if that's not safe. (Like the light of it). So I google it, as I do everything else. And I read some blogs that say it's dangerous and some that say not. What do you think moms? We are moving it tmrw. And I have turned it off for the night. I'm just paranoid now. Should I be?
