Questions for moms of more than one

This is a two part question. With my son, I had an early and scary delivery.  I woke up three and a half weeks earlier than my due date feeling odd. When I stood up, my water gushed out of me like a faucet. By the time I got to the hospital, there was no more fluid around the baby and I was having 6 minute long contractions which caused his heart to drop (I never felt any of the contractions despite my painful pregnancy). The doctors rushed me to an emergency c-section. Any moms out there had a similar experience and if so, was the second pregnancy the same way? I'm worried about trying for number 2 since I am worried about my first and his needs.
