Birth wishes? What are yours?

Trying to decide what I want (what my "wishes" are) for the birth of my baby girl. Im a first time mom and despite the research I've tried to do I'm still not sure. So my question to you is

First time moms: what are some things you've thought of and want for your baby's birth?

Second+ time moms: what are some things you want or wanted? And how did your wishes work out? Suggestions or things you would have changed?

I'm looking to be realistic with my wishes but I still want it to be a special day and have my wishes respected. Let me know your thoughts!
