Abortion

My marriage is over, and I am moving back with my family. Only just found out I am pregnant and I am confused about what to do, it will hurt my family to bring up my ex child because of his violent abusive nature and I dont want that link of a child with him as it wont be easy for the child. I am confused if its right choice and what anyone else would do?
