The proper term for what most people mean when they say 'rape fantasy' is consensual non-consent. It's a shame that the actual term 'rape' is used, but I attribute that to a lack of expanded sexual horizons and knowledge. It is most definitely a common interest, though.

The actual term for this is consensual-nonconsent. Basically, you consent to release your consent on what your SO/sexual partner does. With that being said, there should be soft and hard limits set up before this takes place. It's the desire to relinquish all control and just be.. taken, if you will. It's a very common fetish, and there's nothing wrong with that. But yes, basically some of us liked to be roughed up, snarled at and held down.
