Birth control & periods??

Question

Before I started the pill my periods were very regular every 24 days or so for 6 days. I just started it; will the pill completely stop my periods? Or just make them less painful, etc.

Answer

From my personal experience, birth control does not stop your period. However, if you skip the "sugarpills" and continued on with your birth control pills it'll stop your period for that month (spotting may happen). Birth control pills had stop me from back pains, bloating and pimples. It just depends on the pill and yourself 😊
