Birth control

Just need a little advice. I don't want to be one of those annoying people on here who ask stupid questions, I just want somebodies input.

So I had only been taking the combined pill for 6 days and I started it at the beginning of my period. I was told by my doctor it would immediately be effective so after taking 6 of them, i had intercourse without a condom (the whole reason I wanted to go on it is because I HATE condoms, not that he ejaculated inside me anyways). The next morning my alarm didn't go off for me to take it so I took it around an hour and a half late and now my friend has me all worried about it. Just wondering if I should be worried? Or if I should just stop worrying and be more careful next time?

I'm young so I'm sorry if I'm being stupid and paranoid.
