How did you tell your parents you were pregnant ?

I'm 20 yrs old and still live with my parents but I simply don't know how to tell them that they will be grandparents before I start showing. I'm 10w3d and my bloating belly just seems like it won't go away. Hopefully, someone can give me some advice . Thanks !

My SO and I still live with his parents. We're definitely not in the ideal situation to have a baby, as I've been too sick to work even before pregnancy and he's still in college. We waited until 12 weeks, at the recommendation of doctors. We just sat down with them and said it. They reacted so positively, it shocked us. They've been so supportive, I'm so thankful. Even my mom, who I hadn't talked to in almost year, was nothing but excited. It will be okay, just focus on being a good mother to help you through it. 🤗

I would definitely do a cute grandparents gift, just to ease any tension that may rise when telling them. You're an adult, but you do still live with them, let us know how it goes!

I was 24 and scared to death with my first pregnancy. I didn't even live with my parents anymore. You know your parents, I just took my mom to lunch and was wayyyy more scared then I should of been. I started he grandbaby train and each of my brothers followed with their first 7 and 9 months after my son was born. I'm sure  they will be supportive! Now my mom loves being a "pumpkin"

You're an adult it shouldn't be too hard. Do it in a card or give them grandparent gifts :)
