We don't want a proposal.

My SO and I are planning a future together and we know we're going to get married, probably next fall.

Yesterday we decided against a traditional proposal because I don't like surprises, he's anxious about planning something that wouldn't live up to certain expectations, and we want to pick out a ring together.

Next week we're going to talk about ring settings, when we're going to "make it official," and who we're going to tell.

I'm just really excited to be with someone who wants the same things as I do. 💕💍
