What was your contraceptive method AFTER childbirth?

Im currently pregnant but thought that now would be a good time to think about the contraceptive methods I'd like to use after baby comes. I was on the pill before and really enjoyed it, however I have heard that it's incredibly easy to fall pregnant in the first 12 months after having a baby so I was worried that the pill may not be enough. (I'm trying to avoid a back to back pregnancy as much as I can). What contraceptive methods did you use after baby?

After I gave birth to my son, my husband I used condoms and he pulled out. I know the pull out method is not a "method" at all, but I truly didn't want to get on the pill or get an IUD. My body was really all out of whack after I had my son, and my hormones were outrageous. 
I wanted a good year with no added hormones and try to get my levels back to what would be my new normal. Plus, my husband I wanted to try to start making our second baby after our son was a year.

The pill is just as effective as any other contraceptive if you are able to take it regularly. I'm terrified to have any foreign object implanted in my arm or uterus, so my options are limited 😂 I'm going to be choosing the pill in hopes that I won't gain a ton of weight.
