Anyone tried surrogacy?

Has anyone here tried surrogacy? How did it go for you, and how long before you were matched with a surrogate?

I also have a friend who carried as a surrogate! She was matched with a couple in FL, and she continues to pump her milk to donate to premature babies at her local hospital! Amazing. Her experience seemed very positive.

I'm currently a surrogate. IVF took first try. I'm currently 6weeks 2days pregnant with surro baby.  It was an easy smooth process for me. My intended parents waited about a year and a half to be matched!!  Where we live it's against the law to charge for surrogacy, so the parents just pay for the medical expenses. IVF isn't covered under our public health so they pay for the IVF. The parents had frozen embryos all ready for transfer when we matched. I was pregnant within three months of matching due to them being ready.

I haven't tried it, but one of my close friends is a surrogate. It took a few months for her to be matched and 2 cycles to get pregnant. In February it didn't take and it June it did.

I’m in the process of becoming a surrogate. I started my application in December and I was just matched this last weekend! 
I was matched very quickly, within days of having my profile available for intended parents to see. It took months for the application process, medical records, and getting into my ob for clearance!
