My daughter was born at 34 weeks and was in the NICU for 10 days. . She is now 16 months old and is totally healthy.

We are thinking about TTC next year for baby #2. Doctors are unsure why my daughter came early, I had a very normal/healthy pregnancy. My question is to those who had babies #2, did you make it to term, deliver earlier then baby #1, or the same time timeframe?

Also, if you had a normal 1st pregnancy... what did the dr do to prevent preterm labor for #2? I was told I'd have to go see a specialist, but curious what they would possibly suggest to do?
