At that point they are still too young to remember it. I would spend the money on a vacation geared more toward mom and dad but be sure there are kid friendly things to do while you're there and maybe even a reputable child care source in case you want a dinner and grown up night alone. Save Disney for when they can form great memories of it!

I had a friend take their 1 year old to Disney and she absolutely loved it! She won't remember it but she had a blast and they took plenty of videos and photos of the trip. I don't think using the excuse of them not remembering makes sense. You still get the memories of being there and seeing your child have the time of their life!

I took my daughter to Disneyland when she was 13 months old and I did not regret it at all.  It was so fun seeing her reactions to the rides!  We ended up going again six months later and had a blast then too.  I'd do it again in a heartbeat, but I'm Disney obsessed.

We considered it as a family trip with Nieces. Until two friends that work there said it wasn't a good idea and a huge waste of money. So we changed our minds. It's really pricey and can be extremely hot depending on when you go. Plus you can't enjoy it as much even if you love Disney because you have to gear everything around baby.

I went to Disney World last year, and the parents who had children under the age of 5 looked MISERABLE. It just seemed like they had their hands full constantly with diaper bags, strollers, baby necessities, and then the baby. I think it's a wonderful idea, but better when the kiddos are older.

Take a more adult cruise! Most have daycares so you can get a break and its a little easier than lugging the kid around

I just took my 6 month old on vacation to the beach and it wasn't much of a vacation. There was a lot of stopping for naps, overstimulation, and leaving places after 10 minutes to avoid a meltdown. Vacations for kids under 5 are really for the parents. The kids don't remember it. I definitely wouldn't do something you can go back to a hotel room or rented house easily when there's an inevitable meltdown.
